Welcome to the Kansas State University Libraries' AgNIC Beef Cattle web site! Kansas State University Libraries are partnering in this collaborative effort with the K-State Animal Science and Industry Department. This site is one component of AgNIC, the Agriculture Network Information Center, which is coordinated through the National Agricultural Library in Beltsville , Maryland. AgNIC is a voluntary alliance of the National Agricultural Library, land-grant universities and other organizations committed to facilitating public access to agricultural and related information. AgNIC is committed to provide quality academic, research, and practical resources in electronic format via the World Wide Web.

This site includes resources related to beef cattle behavior, management and well-bing; breeding and genetics; buildings and equipment; health; marketing; meat sciences; nutrition (both cattle nutriion and human aspects); and physiology.
